RN, BSN

Meet Christi Harris, a Registered Nurse from West Point, VA. Christi earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in Richmond, VA at one of the most competitive nursing schools in the state, graduating with honors. Christi began her healthcare career in 2004 as an Admissions and Marketing Director for nursing homes in the Richmond area. After realizing that she wanted to be more patient-centered, Christi earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and started her nursing career in 2016.

Christi has held various nursing positions, including Cardiopulmonary Care RN and Home Health Nursing Supervisor. During her Home Health experience in the field, Christi saw many patients who had severe pain that made it extremely difficult for those patients to go to MD appointments or gain access to more intensive therapies. This led Christi to start her own business, RevitaLife, partnering with Relatyv, for Mobile Pain Management and IV Hydration Therapy.

Christi’s desire to incorporate her medical expertise with a more holistic approach has revitalized the lives of her patients. Christi utilizes electroanalgesia, IV hydration therapy with essential vitamins and nutrients, as well as health coaching and Neurassage (electroanalgesic massage therapy), to enhance her patient’s lives and relieve pain. Her innate ability to create a comforting and supportive environment has had a positive effect on all of her patients. Join Christi on her journey to help patients alleviate pain and revitalize their lives with RevitaLife!

Ernest Timnge
HR

Ernest Timnge was born and raised at Ikuijua-Ngwah, a typical rural African polygamous society in Kom, Boyo Division in the Northwest Region of the Cameroons. His elementary education was at the Presbyterian School Ngwah where he obtained the First School Leaving Certificate. His parents were not financially able to sponsor him to go to a secondary school. Caregiving, especially babysitting, became his most cherished chore. After realizing his attempts to make life inside and outside Kom were unsuccessful, his maternal Uncle Prof. Nelson Ngoh allowed Ernest Timnge to care for his children in the city of Yaoundé. Within this period, his uncle provided the time and the means for him to attend evening classes where he obtained the General Certificate of Education at the ordinary and advanced levels. He then continued to the University of Yaoundé 1 in Cameroon where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in African Literature. Ernest Timnge then, migrated to the United States in 2008 to pursue further Education. Ernest Holds a Master of Arts degree in Adult Education and Development obtained from Strayer University in Washington, DC, USA 2014. Ernest did a one-year master’s program in Rehabilitation Counseling at the Department of Early Childhood Education, Special Education, and Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of Kentucky, USA.

Professional life:
Ernest Timnge has many years of working experience. Here in the United States, he started working as a Nurse Aide with the Nursing Enterprise, a Home Health agency catering to the elderly. He also spent about 6 years working as a care manager/Medication Technician with Sunrise Senior Living in Silver Spring Maryland. In 2015, he moved from Maryland to Lexington, KY, to study Rehabilitation Counselling at the University of Kentucky and, there he worked as a care associate with Brookdale Assisted Senior Living in Lexington Kentucky.
All along, by chance or design, he has been involved in different kinds of caregiving to infants, toddlers, and the senior citizens/elderly, teaching both in formal and informal settings and grappling with some of the challenges that come with those assignments, especially providing suitable answers to most of their inquisitive questions. In 2018, Ernest Taught English as a Second Language (ESL) at the Saudi Mining Polytechnic in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He also done some ESL teaching at Howard County Community College, Maryland.
When he is not working, Ernest Timnge enjoys writing as well as participating in cultural and political activities. He is an avid writer and has written folktales from the Kom Kingdom, which are an inspiring look at African oral history and tradition. His first publication was a poem entitled “What a Shame to This Triangle” in Great Poets Across America. In this poem, Ernest Timnge is lamenting figuratively at the “sheep” wandering and crying in that developing country, because the “shepherd’ has become an absentee landlord spending most of the time in Geneva lavishing himself with greener pasture he stole from his sheep. In his second publication titled “Bate Besong, Turning the Page” in Stars in our Hearts (World Poetry Movement), Ernest is eulogizing the writer he admires, the late famous poet Bate Besong of Cameroon. Ernest’s most recent book, The Passion of My Pilgrim’s Ride, summarizes his experiences as he journeyed in life from childhood in the village until his activities now in the city. Ernest Timnge is a prolific writer, and his activities show that he is a true builder, fighting for the depressed people in his community.
