Dr. Megan Olson

I’ve been a nurse for 16+ years. I’m a Navy veteran with six years of active duty and a deployment to Djibouti. I have experience in medical/surgical, PACU, ER, oncology, endoscopy, and ICU. I have earned my Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Capella University. Additionally, I have been a nursing professor for five years.

While in the Navy, I cared for many wounded warriors. I saw the pain they experienced due to their injuries. The same was true of the oncology patients I’ve taken care of. Dealing with chronic pain takes its toll on a person’s mind, body, and spirit. I strive to improve not only the quality of care I provide but also the quality of life.
