Helen Gentle

My name is Ngozi Helen Gentle. I got my associate degree in 1988 and bachelor’s degree in 2013.I’ve had the opportunity to work in different specialties like medical, surgical, oncology, pain management, home health care, veteran affairs and nursing leadership.my time at the Dallas VA and my encounters with veterans were eye opening to how pain can steal a person’s personality, hope, joy, plans and peace. my current job with the elderly is also showing me that aging can be a wonderful period without pain.

I am currently working with Elders at a Stella Facility in Colorado Springs. I enjoy being a nurse and love to teach my patients because the more they are informed the better their outcomes. I am a christian, happily married with grown kids and very young grandkids.travels, roadtrips, cooking and gardening are my hobbies. I love to learn.
